BOTOX is an FDA-approved neuromodulator injected into our muscles and used to temporarily improve the appearance of lines caused by dynamic and static wrinkles. Dynamic wrinkles are caused by repetitive facial movements such as smiling, frowning, squinting and mouth puckering. These wrinkles are smoothed or eliminated in some cases by applying Botox or Dysport.

In properly administered doses, Botox also visibly improves the appearance of static wrinkles caused by the natural skin folds, accentuated due to the loss of tissue volume, collagen and elasticity during our older ages. Dynamic wrinkles usually appear after the age of 25 while static wrinkles start at 35 in well-cared skin.

The application of Botox is simple, but always confirm that it is performed by a professional. The specialist uses a thin needle to inject small amounts of botulinum toxin into the skin or muscles. The number of injections needed depends on many factors, such as the size of the treated area. Muscle activity usually ceases completely within five to fifteen days after the injection.

Our professionals at Elite Top Aesthetics will evaluate your specific case to recommend the most appropriate options, always maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethics.
Botox is the most used treatment to reduce, prevent, and sometimes eliminate facial wrinkles. Once applied you will clearly notice how lines and wrinkles are smoothed. The effects on the treated muscles are temporary and usually last between four and six months.
