During a Fat Transfer procedure (Fat Grafting), liposuction is applied to areas in the body with excess fat. The fat that is removed from these donor areas is purified and placed into small syringes, and then injected into areas of the face that may lack in volume.

About half of the transferred fat will be absorbed over the first 6 weeks after the procedure. The other half will be incorporated into your tissue & will last for years.

Patients who have lost facial fat and are experiencing a loss in volume in the face may be a good candidate for Fat Transfer. During a consultation appointment with our team at Elite Top Aesthetics, your skin will be examined to see if fat transfer is a good option for you. Our surgeon will look to see how much excess fat can be spared from donor sites in the body to be used as injections in the face.

 

This will depend on the volume of fat you have lost, the areas to be treated and your goals for improvement. Most patients will require 2 fat transfer sessions.

 

The cost depends on how extensive your procedure will be. At your free consultation, our surgeon will take your goals, skin, and body type into consideration, when calculating the cost.

 

After adequate sedation, our specialist will make a 1 in. incision below your chin and incisions in front of (for men) and within the ear (for women), curving behind the ear a variable distance. Liposuction of the neck and jowls may be performed at the same time. The supporting structures of your neck & lower face will be tightened & your excess skin will be removed. Your incisions will be closed with absorbable suture material that will not need to be removed.

 

You will need to be off blood thinners and ensure that your blood pressure is well controlled. You may require medical clearance from your family doctor depending on your age & your health.

 

We charge $100 consultation fee for your first visit that will be applied against your surgery fee

We uphold the strictest hiring and educational criteria in our nursing staff to make certain you are well cared for by qualified staff before, and after your procedures.

We have the most modern monitoring and life-saving equipment on site. We maintain a binding transfer agreement with the Cleveland Clinic, should there be a need for hospital care following a procedure.

STEP 6

We provide detailed pre and post-operative teaching with written instructions to you, so you know what to expect before and after your procedure. We have 24-hour physician coverage.
